Beach cleanup and community gathering will honor the memory of Megan Andrews
To honor the legacy of Megan Welsh Andrews on her September 7 birthday, the Megan’s Way Foundation will partner with FillABag for a beach clean-up and gathering at Beach Park.
Megan, who lived her entire life on Key Biscayne, cherished the beach and all the wildlife that comes with it. Beach walks, alone or with friends, were part of Megan’s weekly exercise routine. Megan was a protector of the ocean and beach.
The gathering will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on September 7. The FillABag beach cleanup begins at 5 p.m. Food and drinks will be sold at the gathering, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Megan Way Foundation.
